Just, for future reference, Apple doesn't refer to the current iPod as the "iPod Video"... just an iPod with Video support...

The reason being that the *real* iPod Video is hopefully in the works... rumors suggest it will sport a wide touch screen that takes up the majority of the front (when you touch the screen, the clickwheel will appear). http://www.thinksecret.com/news/0602vide... yes, it's a good investment. only, you would need to buy a case for it. the 5th generation ipods scratch WAY TOO EASILY. videos, though, really kill the battery life because the backlight has to be on constantly. There are discounts available to students and certain employees of companies, so if you're either, spring for the 30 gig Ipod video and get a discount w/ free engraving.
