To my kids it means probably not.
when i say maybe am really saying no.
it depends on how i say it. if i say it fast it means probably

it i say it slowly like maaaayyyybeee that means no.

PEACE
I usually tell my kids "maybe" when I dont' want to hear them beg when I tell them no lol
It means the person is neutral and in the middle. The person is "stand still". The person is in the process of discernment.
Yes
it means no
sometimes yes sometimes no...isn't that what maybe is supposed to mean
It usually means that I'm undecided, and I'm leaning towards no!
hmm... it usually means maybe.. lol. if i say mayyybeee it means yes but if i say maybe i really dont know. lol.
It usually depends on the situation for me.
It could mean either yes or no.
It means maybe yes or maybe no for me.
it depends how a person says it 4 me it probably means no
Yes
It completely depends on the situation.

Usually one uses maybe when one does not want to reveal whether the answer is a yes or a no.
No...........because i dont want to hurt the persons feelings or be rude
It actually means I'm undecided....
it means no
no
no
Yes, it usually means either because I have a huge problem with important personal decisions.
most of the time it is no, but in a nicer form, rarely it does be a yes
In my house, 'maybe' is the kiss of death.

'Can I have a puppy?'

'Maybe.'

Never did get a puppy.
It means either i really don't know or yes
i only say maybe when i'm really not sure of something, but i always try to do what i say i will do
yes eventually.
No for me.
Depends on the question. If someone wants me to work a shift for them, then it's usually no. If someone wants to plan girls night out, then it would mean yes. I just have to make sure I don't work, or have a fundraiser at my sons school, or if I can get a sitter. But for a night out, I would definitely go for the YES.
